Day 37 - Sun, June 15 - Richmond, IN to Marysville, OH - 103 miles - 3500 ft climbing

Today was an excellent cycling day for our 103 mile ride to Marysville, Ohio,- sunny and with light tailwinds. This was our sixth and final century ride (100 miles or over) although we still have some difficult days remaining - including tomorrow at 98 miles and 5000 feet of climbing.

We crossed into Ohio just three miles into today's ride - our ninth state line crossing.

And an Ohio license plate.

One of the many rural mansions.

We cycled over very rural roads with little traffic. Our traffic, today, included two horse and buggies.

A restored hexagon barn.

One way to mow (and fertilize?) one's lawn - actually within the city limits of, Covington, a small Ohio town.

Entering, Marysville, our destination for today.

The very magnificent court house in Marysville, OH.

Tomorrow, we ride 97 miles to Wooster, OH, with 5000 feet of climbing. I hear that there is a forecast of rain. I'd rather have not known that until morning so that I'd sleep better.

Bye for now and thanks for the comments.

Bob

You are now in some other zone. On the one hand you talk about your last century and then say that the next's days ride is 98 miles!

It's just hard for me to imagine doing all those miles.

Hope the weather cooperates!
