I won't be able to say much today as I need to get to bed for 100 miles across the desert to Blythe tomorrow and 113 miles to Wickenburg the following day. We had a 3 mile climb and a 5.4 mile climb today plus terrific tail winds which enabled some cruising approaching 40 mph. I had a max speed of 43.5 mph at one point.

I may not get on line for the next couple of long days.
Bye for now and thanks for the comments,
Bob

Looks like you are going to have a nice cool days riding across the desert. You are so lucky. I looked like a great ride but last year at 115F it wasn't much fun. Now that you have met your fellow riders and are starting to feel comfortable with them it is time to pick up a water gun. Nothing beats a shot of water on a hot day.
